The Linden Tree: Sculpture with Clay Rosemary with her portrait of Geneva, made from red clay, prior to firing. Firing will make it durable enough to last for many centuries, although it can be broken by being dropped onto cement or hit with a hammer. This class, Portrait Sculpture, is immensely rewarding. It runs for six weeks and is taught by a classically traied sculptor who studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts with teachers who made the busts for the White House, the innaugural medals and the back of the Lincoln penny.
